Job Description:

We are currently searching for a

Senior Manager

to join our CFO Advisory practice.

As a Senior Manager in CFO Advisory, you will provide strong leadership, communication, project management, and team building skills to your teams to solve a particular business problem or improve a particular process, generally related to the finance or accounting functions of the client’s organization. You will collaborate with managers and partners within the group as you review work product and participate actively in client meetings and planning efforts. You will work with Transaction and Financial Advisory Partners and others, as well as independently, to identify and pursue business development initiatives and to win specific engagement opportunities through scoping and budgeting engagement needs.

Responsibilities:

Lead efforts to achieve client satisfaction through engagement oversight and interaction with client executives and engagement sponsorsBe accessible and anticipate client needs, questions, and issuesSchedule internal and external deadlines to meet client expectations for deliveryInteract at the highest levels of client organizationsResourceful at gaining exposure to client activities offering potential for application of firm servicesDisplay broad understanding of activities and interests of other disciplines and play pivotal role in gaining client interestEstablish record of gaining client use of wide range of firm servicesSet and achieve challenging profitability, billing, and collection objectives consistent with circumstances of the engagement, proper utilization of staff, and attention to riskHandle heavy load, including complex/demanding clientsAchieve high visibility for delivery of quality services in both routine and complex situations requiring innovation while being sought out as consulting resourceUnderstand firm’s strategy, practice areas, and service offerings and participate in proposals and presentations leading to new engagementsCreate opportunities to gain new clientsDevelop and maintain relationships with colleagues in the office, other service lines, and engagement/project teamsRegularly look for opportunities, recommendations, and additional firm services that could benefit clientPlay major role in implementation of technical/industry/functional programs while being acknowledged as an expert in the firmLead by example to positively impact employee moraleContribute to firm’s efforts to attract, retain, and develop staff and managers and act as mentor for other managers and senior staffAttains positions of leadership in designated business/professional organizations providing advantageous new business opportunitiesQualifications

Eight (8+) years' experience in a large accounting firm in audit, financial advisory or transaction service linesFive (5)+ years’ of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associatesRelevant bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or relatedCertified public accountant (CPA)High motivation, initiative and positive attitudeExcellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities appropriatelyIntermediate modeling and excel skills, experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and ability to generate data-driven insightsAbility to work autonomously, to meet tight deadlines, and to thrive in a fast paced environment with shifting prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analyses to management and ability to lead and drive initiativesAbility to work effectively and thrive in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industriesAbility to comfortably interact with senior level client personnel, including supporting the preparation of and participating in executive briefings, board meetings, and investor presentationsAdditional Information
