This role requires not only the technical skills to investigate complex low-level system issues but also strong communication skills to collaborate with our engineering teams based in Amsterdam and San Francisco.What You'll Do HereManage, improve, and monitor our various clusters and services on AWS.Build and manage services supporting FareHarbor's engineering organization.Identify and reduce toil through automation.Debug production issues at the hardware, software, or network level and identify the root cause.Manage network and application monitoring tools.Closely collaborate with the Infrastructure team based in Amsterdam and support US-based colleagues.RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of working experience in Linux environment, server administration, cloud service operations, and production codebase.Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management and provisioning tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.Experience with Kubernetes, ideally AWS EKS and Fargate.Experience with observability tools and familiarity with OpenTelemetry.Experience with using SLOs to inform engineering decisions.BenefitsMedical, dental + vision coverage.26 vacation days, 10 sick days & 12 paid holidays per year.Global leave benefit.22 weeks paid parental leave.2 weeks paid grandparent leave.Extended care and bereavement leave.Life insurance policy.401k + employer matching.Social hours & events and team-building.Educational Opportunities.Wellness benefits (Headspace subscription & wellness webinars).Work-from-home assistance.Hybrid friendly.Paid volunteer hours.Salary Range:
