Job Title: Cloud Systems EngineerLocation: San Francisco, CA or Remote - US W2 OnlyEmployment Type: ContractPrimary Roles & Responsibilities:Develop a deep understanding of the program’s functional capabilities, including system and derived requirements.Collaborate with team leads to manage and plan requirements, ensuring alignment with epic goals.Interpret and analyze system requirements, ensuring procedures meet the verification criteria for system functionality.Develop, maintain, and update program architectural diagrams and documentation as required.Manage system requirements to align with project objectives and timelines.Technical Skills & Responsibilities:Java Development:

Proficient in Java 21, with extensive experience in Spring, Spring Boot, and Java Persistence API (JPA).Cloud Deployment:

Design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Test-Driven Development:

Expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Functional Programming principles.Databases:

Proficiency in both Relational (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases for data management and application integration.Version Control & Tools:

Experience with GitHub, IntelliJ, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and New Relic for version control, development, and monitoring.Testing Frameworks:

Strong experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Cucumber for continuous integration and quality assurance.Additional Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively with cross-functional teams.Agile Methodology knowledge, with active participation and contribution to Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprints, stand-ups).Preferred Qualifications:Experience with data solutions and business intelligence analytics initiatives.Ability to manage and optimize workflows for scalable cloud applications.Strong architectural understanding for building robust cloud infrastructure.
