Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Lead will lead the Talent Acquisition Team and will be located in either Houston, TX, Williston, ND, or Watford City ND. This position reports to the HR Director out of the headquarters office in Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience.Essential Job Functions:

Oversees team responsible for entire recruiting process. This includes the employee life cycle process from a new position or backfill request, posting job, attending job fairs, reviewing resumes, vetting candidates, scheduling interviews, and interviewing candidates ensuring the attraction and retention of a superior workforce.Develops and provides metrics to validate success of programs and processes as they relate to the life cycle of an employee; recruiting, development and retention.Responsible for filling roles across the organization in the following departments: Operations, Finance and Accounting, Legal, HR, ESG, Supply Chain, Land, IT, Business Development, New Ventures.Promotes Chord culture and values with the organization and across the community.Develop and implement strategic staffing plans to meet staffing needs of the business.Establishes and upholds processes and procedures that support the achievement of the Organization's goals and initiatives.Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.Ensures HR practices and management decisions are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.Leads the HR effort in providing an employee-oriented, high-performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality and productivity.Establishes environment of innovation that encourages creative solutions and process improvements.Builds strong relationships at all levels of the organization.Manages additional day-to-day HR related tasks, as necessary.Participates in initiatives and special-projects as needed, or as directed by Management.This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.10 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition position.5 years managing a Talent Acquisition team.Experience using an HRIS/ Applicant Management system (posting job, developing screening questions, screening applications, developing reports, recommending and implementing system enhancements).Knowledge of HR policies and procedures including federal laws regarding employment practices.Understanding of market conditions, job competencies, sourcing strategies and candidate assessment.Strong negotiation skills.Strong Microsoft skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing company.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to use good judgment and handle sensitive and confidential information.Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.Willing to travel as needed to ND field offices or to Houston corporate headquarters.Ability to meet deadlines and the ability to produce results under tight deadlines.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
