Requirements

1. Design Systems and Component Libraries :• Proven experience establishing and maintaining

design systems

in

Figma ,

Storybook , and

GitLab .• Strong collaboration with engineers to ensure smooth integration between design and development.• Understanding of

atomic design principles

to create scalable UI components.• Ability to document and communicate design standards, ensuring reusability and consistency across projects.

2.

Collaborative UX Research and Design :• Comfort working closely with UX Researcher to translate

user insights ,

pain points , and

accessibility needs

into actionable design decisions.• Systems-thinking approach to creating effective

information architecture ,

navigation , and

user flows .• Experience conducting moderated and unmoderated

usability testing

and iterating designs based on data-driven insights.

3.

High-Quality, Differentiated Visual Design :• Ability to interpret

existing brand guidelines

while creating unique and innovative

user experiences

and

interfaces .• Good eye for

design aesthetics

and strong

interaction design

that differentiates the user experience.• Understanding of

mobile-first

and

responsive design

principles, treating mobile design as integral, not separate.

Analytical and Business Impact Understanding :• Ability to clearly communicate the

business impact

of their designs, including how their work contributes to

customer satisfaction ,

engagement , and

revenue goals .• A structured portfolio that effectively demonstrates the

strategic value

of their work, with clear outcomes and metrics for success.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to combine

design execution with strategic thinking

and should have portfolios that are

cleanly structured

and

impact-focused , avoiding the pitfalls of too much text or inconsistency.
