Developer Relations Engineer

Stytch is the most powerful identity platform built for developers - bringing together authentication, authorization, and fraud into purpose-built APIs that provide the foundations that allow developers to scale rapidly.
This role will be responsible for building awareness of Stytch within the developer community, ensuring that developers have the right content to understand why Stytch and how to integrate Stytch into their application, and bringing key feedback and insights from our community back to our product development.
This includes:
Identifying and engaging with developer communities as both an advocate for Stytch, and as an expert on identity and security more generallyWriting guides, references, and resources, complete with diagrams and realistic code examples for both backend and frontend personas across a wide range of frameworks and languagesBuilding example apps that range from straightforward educational resources to more fun, catchy projects that get developers excited about possible use casesBeing an advocate for developer experience internally - listening to pain points and frustration in the community (both about Stytch and also our market generally) and advocating for prioritizing work that will build developer love in the communities we engage withThe ideal candidate has a deep curiosity for learning, views building community as not just an exercise in sharing but also listening and taking action, and loves diving into the weeds on complex technical topics across the stack. 2+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer and 2+ years of experience in DevExp or DevRel rolesExceptional written and verbal communication of technical concepts for a range of audiencesAbility to identify trends, distill feedback and think creatively about how to solve developer pain pointsComfort with ambiguityStrong sense of ownership and pride in the work you produce
Expected base salary $150,000 - $190,000. The anticipated base salary range is not inclusive of full benefits including equity, health care insurance, time off, paid parental leave, etc. This base salary is accurate based on information at the time of posting. Actual compensation for hired candidates will be determined using a number of factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.
