As Digital Analyst, the successful candidate will play a vital role in leveraging data to drive our digital marketing efforts. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing analytics, data analysis techniques, and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with digital marketing platforms, data technologies, and Salesforce integration, enabling them to transform complex data into actionable insights that support the organization's mission and strategic goals. The Digital Analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure that data-driven decisions are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform Technical Data Analysis & Reporting:

Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to interpret and report on data from various digital marketing platforms, including Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and other ad management tools. Develop and maintain detailed reports that provide insights into campaign performance, ROI, and key metrics across all digital channels. Leverage technologies such as jQuery, SQL, and advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros, and VBA) to clean, analyze, and visualize data, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all reports. Analyze Salesforce (SF) reporting data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making and optimize fundraising and marketing strategies. Implement data visualization best practices using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to create compelling dashboards and visual reports. Conduct Digital Marketing Performance Analysis:

Monitor and evaluate digital marketing campaigns daily, extracting data using SQL and performing advanced analysis with Python or R. Identify patterns and trends in donor behavior, marketing performance, and website interactions using statistical methods such as regression analysis, correlation, and hypothesis testing. Provide detailed analyses of donation patterns and digital fundraising performance, helping to identify what works and what doesn't in various campaigns and initiatives. Collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing to ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with organizational goals and deliver desired outcomes. Continuously provide feedback and recommendations to improve performance and ROI based on data insights. Support Data-Driven Decision Making:

Create and present comprehensive reports that highlight key insights, performance metrics, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Collaborate with various departments to ensure that data-driven decisions are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations, enhancing strategic alignment and impact. Automate data processing tasks using advanced Excel skills, including Macros and VBA, to improve efficiency and ensure consistency in data reporting. Engage with global teams and regional offices to ensure consistency in data reporting and analysis across the organization. Proactively seek opportunities to leverage data for improved decision-making, identifying new ways to integrate data insights into strategic planning. Facilitate Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with IT, marketing, and Salesforce teams to ensure seamless data integration and reporting across platforms. Provide data support and insights for a variety of initiatives within the organization, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in data reporting and analysis across all levels of the organization. Support other teams by providing data analysis and reporting expertise, enhancing the overall effectiveness of their initiatives. Provide training and support to team members on best practices for data analysis and reporting, including the use of data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI. Drive Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis techniques, tools, and trends in digital marketing analytics, including advanced statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling. Integrate new technologies and methodologies, such as Python's Scikit-Learn for predictive analytics or TensorFlow for advanced machine learning models, to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. Provide training and support to team members on best practices for data analysis and reporting, including the use of advanced data visualization tools. Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data analysis and reporting functions. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, encouraging the team to explore new approaches to data-driven decision-making. WHAT YOU WILL NEED

EDUCATION/EXPERTISE:

Bachelor's degree required in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant certification (e.g., Google Analytics Certification) is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on digital marketing and reporting. Proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and data analysis software (Python, R). Experience with Salesforce and digital marketing platforms is essential. JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/ETC:

Technical Skills:

Deep technical expertise with jQuery, SQL, advanced Excel functions, including data manipulation, pivot tables, and complex formulas. Strong knowledge of Salesforce reporting and integration, including custom report building, dashboards, automation, and data management. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn) or R (dplyr, ggplot2), and familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and preparation for analysis, including working with large datasets and handling various data types. Solid understanding of digital marketing platforms and performance metrics, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and other relevant tools. Personal Skills:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends, patterns, and insights. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on using data to drive decision-making and improve marketing performance. Effective communication skills, capable of translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work. Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Visual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp. May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand and walk. Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or move light to medium weight up to twelve (12) pounds and/or exert up to twelve (12) pounds of force.
