Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Ride along with a CDL Driver to assist with duties at their stops.Video the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and upload video into employer system.Load containers and supplies to truck for daily service stopsMay assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with appropriate regulations and policies, practices, and procedures.Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures as outlined in procedures and policies.Complete paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner.Performs related work and additional duties as requested or assigned by supervisor/manager.Drive non-DOT regulated vehicle as needed.Qualifications

Basic requirements:

Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds throughout the workdayAbility to stand and walk over uneven surfaces for extended periodsVisual acuity to read labels and documentation; depth perception to safely drive forkliftsAbility to hear vehicle warning chimes and alarmsAbility to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled conditionsWillingness and ability to wear company-issued personal protection equipment including safety glasses, hard had, steel toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator (gentlemen - this means no beards)Valid state driver's licenseMust be available for occasional overnightsPreferred qualifications:

High school diploma or GEDExperience in warehouse or manufacturing environmentBasic computer skills to complete web-based trainingValid CDL C driver's licenseAbility to understand and respond to written and verbal EnglishAbility to predictably and regularly attend work during scheduled hours. Must be willing and able to occasionally work nights, weekends and variable schedule(s) as necessary.Ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and coworkers
