Ground handling company has an immediate opening for aircraft load control/ramp coordinator services at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform a broad range of duties depending on location and service demands while delivering a high-quality product.
Must have knowledge in Weight and Balance (Manual and Computerized Load sheet), experienced ramp coordinator, flight plan, and dispatch.
Operate jet bridge.
Resolve issues with flight activity to ensure on-time departure.
Perform other related duties, as assigned by the supervisor or manager, to ensure the accomplishment of the job.
Able to multi-task and carry out duties in a fast-paced environment.
Perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing to understand aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags.
Maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
Ability to be in situations with continuous standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, stooping, and grasping.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
Have a minimum of one year working experience in LAX.
Minimum high school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent.
Fluent in English written and verbally (bilingual a plus).
Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts.
Must be available for long hours shifts.
Must pass a drug test/background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.
Never have been convicted of any of the listed FAA Disqualifying Crimes.
Well-groomed appearance.
Positive attitude and a good team player.
