Your role:

As a Market Consultant, you will work as a team with the Market Leader and Internal Market Consultant in Tennessee, Northern Alabama, and Northern Mississippi to build long-standing trusted partnerships with intermediary clients that increase long-term holdings of Invesco products and services. Serving as the face of Invesco to clients, you will be an integral part of advancing the client journey and delivering the Invesco Total Client Experience or Total CX. Through Invesco Total CX you will engage clients as a consultant, adding value both as an investment partner and a business building/practice management advisor. 10-20% travel should be expected.You will be responsible for:

High level work ethicEntrepreneurial and growth mindset with a business owner mentalityExcellent listening skills coupled with strong presentation and interpersonal skillsPartnering with the Market Leader, Internal Market Consultant, and Division Sales Director to develop and implement a territory sales plan that aligns with the overarching firm plan and deploys/leverages the resources and specialists of Invesco at a high levelDeveloping differentiated client relationships, including growing existing client relationships and developing new profitable relationships to reach maximum wallet shareIdentifying and gaining access to advisors who present opportunities for Invesco investment strategiesTravel within the territory to conduct meetings with clients, COIs, and lead client eventsDelivering product presentations to current and prospective Financial Advisors via face-to-face meetings, telephone, WebEx, seminars, and conferencesUtilizing a consultative approach, delivering solutions before products to meet client needs and drive resultsA digital and data-driven mentality to develop and carry out a strategic business plan, including the adoption of technologies that improve efficiency and lead to an enhanced client experienceExecuting a data-driven client segmentation strategyPerforming portfolio construction and manager selection consultations to clients with varying technical expertise (includes practice level CIOs, CFAs, and analyst gatekeepers)The experience you bring:

3+ years of asset management sales experienceUndergraduate, college degree or equivalent preferredCFA, CIMA or similar certification a plusSeries 7 and 63 required (63/65 can be substituted for the 66)Technical investment expertise including superior knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and their competitive landscape and in-depth understanding of Capital Markets and the impact of economic factorsFull Time / Part Time
