Senior Product Manager, Threat Protection Events, Research and Roadmap , you will play a central role responsible for in many ways bringing the team together. You will

own

the

roadmap

not just for my team but for the

broader security organization , not just bringing together that information but using it to ensure we have

storylines

across team and clarity around upcoming deliverables. You will

own events

including our team’s presence in the big first party events like

Ignite and RSA

as well as the tours around the world and you will also help

orchestrate direct to subsidiary customer visits . You will also

own

our

research approach

including the

product tracker

and represent in broader work. Along the journey, there is the opportunity to

own specific marketing projects

– the prior team member worked on

ransomware and copilot for security . This will vary based on need across the team and bandwidth. You will get

deeply immersed

in the

security space

and

gain

tremendous

insights

from the marketers around you. This role is an

ideal setup

for a

later career move

to a Product Manager on a specific security product

Roadmap for the security all up and partner with broader cross functional team on the SCI roadmap.Research including product tracker participating in presentations out and ensuring data that is collected is utilized for both understanding and better marketing.Events including our presence in 1st party events Ignite, Secure, AI tour), specific customer subsidiary visits that drive a deeper relationship with the subsidiaries and a deeper understanding of market needs, and 3rd party events such as RSA.You partner with a broad cross functional team at the SCI level.Additional projects balanced by your growth and business needs.Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in businessOR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in businessOR equivalent experienceExperience in communicating, presenting, orchestrating, influencing and organizing across broad organizational groups, internal teams, customers & diverse stakeholdersExperience bringing together cross-functional teams through messaging & understanding of technologyPreferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in businessOR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in businessOR equivalent experienceKnowledge of one or more Microsoft applicationsExcellent communication skills, high degree of accountability with willingness to take measured risks and set bold goalsCapability to structure and organization complex problems and work across group to lead others forwardDrive for results and action-orientedAbility to understand or grow an understanding of Microsoft’s security portfolioUnderstanding of marketing principlesAbility to analyze and diagnose complex product and business challenges, formulate solutions, and then motivate the broader organization to pragmatic actionDesire to be involved in a development stage business with an entrepreneurial biasProven capability to develop working relationships with customers, senior executives, engineering teams, and other product and marketing groups across MicrosoftThe ability to drive with autonomy in a high-visibility environmentAbility to collaborate across org boundariesKnowledge of how enterprises buy and use commercial applicationsMBA preferredProduct Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
