With a passionate commitment to the development of the whole human being, we strive to harmonize the physical, emotional, and intellectual life of each child.By bringing developmentally appropriate academic rigor through hands-on experience, nourishment of the imagination, care for the earth, and a commitment to social justice, we equip our students with the tools to become free-thinking, moral human beings.Our program is delivered indoors and out, at our beautiful campus in the Portola Neighborhood of San Francisco, in McLaren Park, and at Hawk Creek Farm.Summary:The Administrative Director leads the community building, administration, and development of Golden Bridges School. The Administrative Director provides leadership in all areas of collaborative governance including the College of Teachers, Board of Directors, the faculty, and the admin team with particular emphasis on the Leadership council.Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:Support education through Waldorf principles.Facilitate policy implementation and general practices.Report to and advise the Board of Directors.Participate in strategic planning and act as a spokesperson.Maintain communication across the school and serve as a non-voting Board member.Operational Planning and Management:Participate in budgeting and manage finances.Develop and oversee the operational plan.Ensure effective day-to-day operations.Draft and review policies.Determine staffing requirements and supervise administrative staff.Ensure proper training and orientation for staff.Outreach and Marketing:Develop and implement enrollment strategies.Support enrollment events and manage the outreach budget.Fundraising and Relationship Development:Develop and execute fundraising goals and strategies.Maintain donor relationships and manage fundraising events.Oversee donor acknowledgement and stewardship.Communications/Community Relations/Advocacy:Build trust within the school community.Manage feedback loops and communication.Promote social opportunities and support parent-led efforts.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Education, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5-7 years of administrative and leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably in an independent or Waldorf school.Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.Proven track record in managing school operations, including budgeting, staff supervision, and strategic planning.Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) with a proven track record of promoting and implementing DEI initiatives in the workplace.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with faculty, staff, parents, students, and the broader community.Some familiarity with Waldorf education principles and Anthroposophy is highly desirable but not required.Experience in fundraising and donor relations is a plus.Fluent in Google Suite.Reports to:
