A Brief Overview
TriNet is looking for an experienced Sr Payroll Core Service Analyst to provide top tier support to our HR Plus customers. Our Sr Payroll Core Service Analyst will support HR Plus Payroll customers in need of guidance or assistance with payroll and with platform questions. They will work cross-functionally to build partnerships both internally and externally. They ensure our customers are provided with reliable information through our expertise of advanced payroll concepts along with information on Federal, State and Local compliance.

What you will do
  • Provide hands on support and top-tier guidance to clients for payroll processing and training in the platform.
  • Manage client communications through cases in salesforce. Ensuring all communications are documented timely per documented SLA's and provide clear details for client accounts.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation and adopt a positive customer-centric approach in resolving customer issues.
  • Effectively communicate to the client both written and verbally: advanced payroll concepts (weighted overtime, labor tracking, FLSA compliance, etc) and compliance information in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
  • Provide seamless communication to resolve issues and ensure optimal issue resolution per documented SLA's.
  • Employ a proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
  • Hands-on assistance with custom reporting and audits.
  • Assist the client with documenting workflow and work procedures to ensure controls for payroll processing are followed.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders when needed to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Assist with training colleagues on best practices, processes and procedures.
  • Proactively identify gaps in processes and procedures and provide feedback to leadership.
  • Maintain positive CSAT scores for your established book of business.

Education Qualifications
  • Active FPC - Required
  • Or recent equivalent work experience in a role providing top tier payroll support, knowledge and guidance to clients.

Experience Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a position providing top tier payroll support, knowledge and guidance to clients.

Skills and Abilities
  • Apply analytical thinking to research and document transactions that follow payroll procedures.
  • Understand, apply and clearly articulate (written and verbally) advanced payroll concepts and accounting principles.
  • Work independently and proactively resolve issues. Engage leadership and internal stakeholders as necessary to resolve issues timely.
  • Effectively multi-task, prioritize and complete requests and assignments in a timely manner.
  • Effective with the use of payroll systems, case management tools/tracker, call center tools and other related applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel.

The salary range for this role is $60,600 to $123,700. The candidate's final salary offer will be based on the candidate's skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate's compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet's corporate bonus plan.
