Job Summary/Description:
The KXII Vice President/General Manager will also be the Director of Sales. The role is responsible for managing a full team of professionals along with the profit and financial growth of the operation.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Be an advocate of local broadcasting and digital service with a history of audience growth
• Must have exemplary skills related to revenue achievement, share growth, and financial expense
• Have experience with local outreach and community involvement
• Engage with local community leaders and develop long-term relationships with key station clients
• Must be able to lead and work with all levels of management and staff members, while promoting teamwork within all areas of station operations
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Proven success as a manager and leader in the broadcast industry
• Facilitates agility, collaboration, and innovation internally and externally
• Must have strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Capability to create and communicate priorities, strategies, market opportunities, and challenges to drive growth and performance improvement
• Experience with FCC rules and regulations
