POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Profitability Team Lead is a key partner in managing the daily operations and on-going programs of the department. This position helps ensure accurate and effective reporting to stakeholders and leverages its deep understanding of profitability to support strategic revenue-generating initiatives and overall growth of the Bank. In addition, this position is expected to maintain understanding of departmental processes to provide support and answer questions to others on the team and managing/disbursing the workload of the team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a profitability and/or pricing role required, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a strong knowledge of profitability, pricing, and performance data and trends.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the Bank's loan and deposit pricing calculator maintenance and communication.
• Update the unit cost and FTP tables within the Bank's CRM system, adjusting for changes in market conditions and/or changes in Bank strategy as needed.
• Monitor results and usage of the pricing calculator, including back-testing actual results versus calculated forecasts.
• Responsible for the oversight of CRM householding/relationship data to best support profitability and pricing analysis. This includes collaborating with the Bank's CRM and Sales teams to support the on-going upkeep of this data.
• Oversee training programs related to the self-service pricing and profitability tools utilized across the Bank.
• Process month-end updates to the Bank's profitability and incentive data models.
• Understand the drivers of relationship and portfolio profit performance and how they impact Bank strategy.
• Collaborate with multiple business units and other cross-functional teams to complete strategic projects as needed.
• Prepare profitability reports/analysis as needed for internal stakeholders.
• Responsible for the validation and maintenance of incentive model calculations and distribution of monthly officer reporting.
• Assist with training of new associates; deliver components of new associate training and job-specific training courses as needed.
• Serve as a department subject matter expert regarding policies and procedures; perform periodic procedure review to create/update as needed. Provide training for these tasks as needed.
• Assist with projects that effect the department as needed.
• Oversight of department software applications.
• Serve as primary backup when manager is out.
• Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.

• Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Travel between Republic Bank facilities.
• Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
• Flexible work schedule that will include some evenings and weekends.
• Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
