Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic and Benedictine heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Scientist is required, or Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology and one or two years of Medical Laboratory Scientist experience/training acceptable to ASCP or AMT.Willing to consider new MLS graduates.Licensure/Certification/RegistrationCertification as Medical Laboratory Scientist from ASCP or AMT required within one year of hire.Work ScheduleEvening/Night Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm, every 3 rdweekend, every 3 rdholiday; 80 hours every 2 weeksPayThe hourly range for this position is listed below.
