This position is based in our Madison, Wisconsin office and may be hybrid, full-time, part-time, or temporary at the candidate's preference.

Job Summary
POWER Engineers is currently seeking a senior level electrical engineer to provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) support for our Central Region Power Delivery Substation Departments. This position is based in our Madison, Wisconsin office and may be hybrid, full-time, part-time, or temporary at the candidate's preference.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform QA/QC for substation project deliverables to clients across multiple offices.
- Ensure POWER quality procedures are followed and that the team is resourced in an optimal manner.
- Mentor less experienced staff in substation project execution.
- Ability to function as a Senior Substation Electrical Engineer based in our Madison, Wisconsin office and specializing in QA/QC.
- Experience in 15kV through 345kV physical and electrical substation design, and IEEE/ANSI standards.
- Experience in managing 5 or more people on a project team.
- Experience filling the role of project engineer for several projects occurring concurrently.
- The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship.
- Ten or more years experience in utility substation design is preferred.
- BSEE (BS in Electrical Engineering) or BSEET (BS in Electrical Engineering Technology) degree, from an accredited university preferably with a power option.
- Professional Engineering license (PE).
- Experience with - and established positive relationships with - Central region clients.
- Experience in 345kV through 500 kV substation design.
