Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Facility Design Project Manager contributes leadership, experience and knowledge to a working team of professionals resulting in the creation of innovative facility designs for operations and maintenance facilities across multiple disciplines, including, Transportation, Water, Civic, Federal Government, and more. Candidate will have an ability to be a team player for the globally recognized Architecture and Engineering firm. This leadership role manages design and construction phases of projects from conception to completion. The Facility Design Project Manager reports to Colorado’s Senior Program Manager overseeing the Operation and Maintenance team. Some travel to client sites or other HDR offices is required. The Facility Design Project Manager is responsible for overall project and office resource management, including budget and schedule control, communications, and client, consultant, and vendor relations.In the role of Facility Design Project Manager, we'll count on you to:Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projectsIndependently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development, ensuring successful project deliveryConduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staffCoordinate with other disciplines across HDRManage submittal and RFI processControl project budget, scope, and scheduleTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to scheduleWork with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as neededInvoicing and contract managementEnsure product deliverables meet quality standardsEstablish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsRepresent HDR at interview presentationsPerform other technical and managerial tasks as neededPreferred QualificationsMinimum of 10 years related experiencePMP certificationRevit Experience#LI-LA1Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field7 years related experienceA minimum of 2 years project management experienceMust have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
