We are currently seeking a RPS Custodial Services Relationship Manager. This position will be a client-facing role accountable to the servicing and related operational aspects for ONB/1834's retirement plan services custodial & pension business. This role is a hybrid role and will serve as a relationship manager to our retirement plan custodial business as well as assist with the development of the product offer for our retirement plan custodial business. This includes ERISA governed retirement plans such as defined benefit, Taft Hartley, pension plans, etc. The RPS Custodial Services Relationship Manager will be the primary contact for our custodial clients to consult with and advise on ERISA specific items related to their plan. This role may also be responsible for overseeing operational aspects, such as ensuring transactions are processed in accordance with ERISA and their governing document. In addition, this role will collaborate with business partners across the organization to document processes and governance around our retirement plan services custodial and investment solutions offer.

Key Accountabilities:

Serve as Relationship Manager for retirement clients where Old National Bank serves as trustee/custodian for ERISA governed retirement plans, researching and responding to inquiries about their account.

Assist clients with fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities.

Be a technical resource for retirement plans business which resides on our custodial platform, with a specific expertise in Pensions, Defined benefit, Taft Hartley plans, etc.

Develop relationships with clients, as well as wealth advisors, and banking partners to deliver exceptional service and holistic solutions to clients.

Oversee the onboarding of new custodial clients, gathering required documents, getting client accounts set up on the system.

Lead projects related to the ONB custodial services business.

Ensure transactions and servicing of clients adheres to guidelines as defined by ERISA and other governing bodies (internal and external).

Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies that will allow RPS to scale and grow our custodial business.

Reviewing time sensitive and/or complex documents; creating or revising departmental procedures.

Assist in the development of an enhanced custodial services product offer and workflow for various retirement plan clients, with a focus on pension and cash balance plans.

Develop, document, and maintain documentation, training, and communication through a variety of methods.

Collaborate across business areas and identify ways to improve the experience for internal partners as well as clients.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualifications and skills. Minimum of 5 years' related experience.

Minimum 3 years' experience working with Trust & Custodial business & retirement plans.

In depth knowledge of ERISA guidelines.

Proficient communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of audiences (internally and externally).

Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

Effective customer relations, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Knowledge of FIS/Trust Desk is a plus.
