Established in 1961, FLOFORM is proud to be one of the Best Managed Companies in North America.Required immediately, our LOCAL SHOP in Kent is seeking a Countertop Template TechnicianPOSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for creating templates to be used in fabrication of the final product. We will train you to prepare CAD files both in shop and on job sites for fabrication of custom countertops in a range of materials. This often involves visiting customer homes to finalize the measurements. You will start and end your days at your home.QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with kitchen and/or bathroom construction, installation or similarExperience in Templating or Fabrication/Installation/drafting a plus.Experience in reading blueprints/schematics, etc. along with experience with measurements and Intermediate mathematical skillsMust have strong face to face customer service skills, professional appearance, with good communication skills and an appropriate command of the English language and the understanding and knowledge of how to deal with people effectively with varied backgroundsValid driver's license and a clear criminal record checkDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Travels to customers’ home/business to create templatesCompletes work orders noting all required measurements, polished edges, cut-outs (sinks, cook tops, faucet holes), plus radiuses in the tops and any other necessary specifications desired by the customer for the jobAdvises customers of any modifications required and provides critical information to the customer concerning the templating and installation processesResponds to general customer inquiries while on-site and communicates any relevant information about the job to the salesperson, Operations staff or Production staff in a timely mannerEnsures all work orders and completed templates are submitted no later than 24-48 hours from the time of templatingMaintains the company vehicle interior and exteriorCreates accurate digital drawings of countertops and sinks for installation.Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, lift, squat and stand for extended periods of timeAble to lift 50lbsRegular kneeling, bending, and twistingOther duties as assignedFLOFORM is proud to offer the successful candidate:Competitive wage $24/hr - $30/hr D.O.E.Medical/RX/Dental/Vision benefitsCompany paid Life/ADD insuranceCompany paid EAP planMedical and Dependent FSA planOpportunity to participate in the company 401k planFLOFORM Counter-tops offers a positive and fun working environment that rewards those who share in our mission: “To consistently provide our customers the best countertop purchasing experience available.”Should this opportunity be of interest to you, contact us today!!!CALL US TOLL FREE: 253-639-4574To learn more about us we encourage all applicants to visit our website at
