Position SummarySJI is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Manager of Enterprise Solution Services who will lead and oversee all aspects of enterprise applications' implementation and support. This position plays a critical role within the Enterprise Solutions Services team as it is responsible for providing essential technical solutions and support for the SJI enterprise portfolio. The IT Manager's responsibility will include managing a team of professionals to plan, design, develop, modify, implement, upgrade, and support solutions based on business requirements for both new and existing enterprise applications.
The IT Manager will be tasked with identifying opportunities for improvement, proposing enterprise technology solutions and upgrades, and maximizing SJI's capabilities. Their responsibilities include driving process automation, implementing enhancements, and ensuring alignment with strategic plans and business goals.
Success in this position hinges on extensive experience in managing technology resources and collaborating with business subject matter experts to develop and support technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in implementing low-code or no-code commercial solutions, system integrations, and system support. Additionally, exceptional management and communication skills are crucial. It is also important that the candidate thrives in a collaborative and dynamic team environment and has proficiency in managing a diverse range of IT software and systems.
Essential Functions:Manage quality technical solution delivery and support based on requirements.Provide, and take accountability for, accurate work estimations and target completion dates.Oversee all aspects of system implementation, integration development and support of multiple enterprise systems, including planning, budgeting, and execution.Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.Lead an internal team of professionals and external partners to oversee a portfolio of enterprise applications, ensuring they possess the necessary resources and support to achieve their objectives.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical solutions and support services are aligned with the company's overall business goals.Identify and implement new technologies to improve business and IT capabilities.Monitor and report on KPIs.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practicesMentor, motivate, and develop internal team to continuously improve their skillset to best serve SJI.Required Skills:
Prior or current experience in managing development and support teams for larger systems preferred.Expert in SDLC.Experience with implementing and supporting variety of larger systems such as Salesforce, HR Technology, FinTech.Working knowledge of periodic releases and cutover planning for on-prem and SaaS business systems.Ability to research best practice solutions for business systems and to define benefits to the organization.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong analytical skills.Competency in DevOps or Agile methodologies preferred.Experience in forecast and manage budget and resource plan.Familiar with critical systems' business continuity and disaster recovery planning.Qualifications
Required Background:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or similar; or master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.In addition, a minimum of 2 years of management experience is required.Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Explore the Possibilities
