Summary of Job:BAS Integrator is responsible for the documentation and software programming for all types of HVAC and process control systems. This position is also responsible for building automation system commissioning and training for facility operators. BAS Integrator is responsible for the integration of multiple facility systems into one platform. BAS Integrator will work with communication protocols that include but not limited to, BACnet MSTP, Echelon, Modbus, BACnet IP, and Scada.
Education and Experience:Required is a HS diploma or greaterInstallation & Commissioning Interoperability of systems, or equivalentHVAC Electrical Troubleshooting, or equivalentAX Certified, or equivalentBAS Advanced ApplicationsExperience in IT networksSkills and Abilities:BAS Protocols - Develops an understanding of BAS communication protocolsElectrical Knowledge Has an in depth understanding of Ohms Law and electrical circuitsBlueprints - Understands the basic concepts of blueprints and schematic drawingsHVAC Systems Develops basic understanding of HVAC systems and componentsHydronic Systems Understands the basics of chilled, condenser and hot water systemsAir Side Systems Understands the basics of variable and constant volume air flows.Certifications Possesses Siemens, Honeywell and/or Trane BAS certificationsVariable Frequency Drives Understands concepts of VFDs and the ability to perform operational function checksTest and Balance Understands the basic concepts of Test and Balance proceduresComputer Skills Possesses basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office productsValves & Actuators Ability to identify, size and create valve and actuator schedulesBuilding Automation Systems Ability to download and adjust BAS programs.
