Project Details:Work with the BI Analysts & Data Architects to develop conceptual data modelsCreate logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancyOptimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projectsMaintain conceptual, logical and physical data models along with corresponding metadataRecommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new use casesDevelop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data modelsLead and provide technical guidance for design and implementation of data warehouse and governance systemsEnsure data usage is in line with privacy and security policiesPerform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scriptsEvaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepanciesValidate business data objects for accuracy and completenessEstablish standards and guidelines for developing data modelsGuide BI Analysts and Self-Developed BI community on platform limitations and capabilitiesJob Experience:
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other data related fieldAdvanced degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science a plus8+ years of experience as Data Modeler /Data Architect creating data models and working in Data Architecture and Data Management solutions.
