Crane Operator 2nd shift

The Crane Operator and Rigger is responsible for operating a variety of heavy, specialized lifting equipment. In addition to operating, the position will be required to rig loads as needed.Duties and Responsibilities of this Position:•Operate crawler cranes•Operate lattice boom cranes•Operate barge mounted friction cranes•Operate rough terrain fork lifts and loaders•Operate hydraulic cranes of various sizesRequirements of this Position:•4 years of related experience and/or training.•Sitting for long periods of time.•Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds occasionally, lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds regularly•2-3 years of experience in a shipyard environment•Calculating loads•Certified in rigging•Pouring a socket on a tow cableWork environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of this job.
