Job Description

Hilltop Holdings is looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer. This position will lead the planning, development, and execution of the SharePoint ecosystem, which entails SharePoint configuration, migration, site creation, forms development, workflows, user permissions, user support and training. This role provides investigation, diagnostic testing, advanced troubleshooting, maintain operational documentation detailing technical environment, and repair/resolution of system hardware, software, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Development of SharePoint sites, forms, and workflows as needed to meet requirementsManage the SharePoint ecosystems for all companies under Hilltop HoldingsControl access to SharePoint sites and document libraries, adding users, and setting roles/permissionsPerform routine maintenance on the SharePoint farms, including patching, archival of data, storage clean-upTroubleshoot and resolve SharePoint related issues; providing communication to affected usersProvide SharePoint support and end-user training for usersManage team trainings and orientation for new feature updates, and produce training documentsComplete configuration, installation and support of software and equipment in an environment conducive to the specifications of departmental or organizational needsMigrate SharePoint on-premises sites to SharePoint Online utilizing SharegateBuild SharePoint forms utilizing InfoPath designer, Power Apps, and SPFxBuild SharePoint workflows utilizing SharePoint designer and Power AutomateMaintaining software applications, operating systems, and regular maintenanceManaging assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives and reporting to the appropriate stakeholdersGather business requirements and translate to appropriate system requirements utilizing Azure Dev OpsDocumentation of support instructions, processes, and proceduresResponding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, other internal departments, and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and supportRespond to varying monitoring alerts of servers and applicationsGenerate reports as necessary regarding various systemsOther duties as assigned or requiredQualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience3+ years SharePoint Development/Administration5+ years related IT and/or Engineering experienceStrong working knowledge of SharePoint Server 2016, SharePoint Server 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint OnlineExperience in architecting, designing, and developing solutions using Microsoft tech stack-SharePoint 2016, 2019, Subscription Edition and SharePoint OnlineHands on experience migrating SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online utilizing SharegateIn-depth knowledge in Power Apps, Power Automate, SPFx, and InfoPath DesignerSolid knowledge of software and/or systems engineering processes obtained through formal training and/or work experienceSolid knowledge of required software engineering languages/tools and/or systems platform management technologiesSolid understanding of SharePoint form and workflow developmentDemonstrated PowerShell scripting knowledge and experienceExperience patching on-premises SharePoint servers preferredExperience with administration of SharePoint OnlineExperience with Azure Dev Ops for tracking user stories and tasks for developmentMust have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsMust be able to engage with internal and external customers without directionStrong customer service orientationAbility to partner with vendors, external contacts and industry standards organizations to deliver technical solutionsAbility to meet deadlines and deploy solutions in up to and including large scale environmentsMust have appropriate skills with the standard workstation software utilized to perform daily duties, e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
