Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP MM Consultant
As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, identify areas of improvement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will be responsible to manage the turnaround expectations from the team in terms of any SLA/KPIs and front ending the deliverables of the team with the client stakeholders. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.This position is based in Austin, TX. Candidates must be willing to work from office at this location daily.Preferred Qualifications:
At least 11 years of experience in SAP MM module including 2 S/4 HANA full life cycle project implementation.Able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solutionStrong hands-on experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration and system integration areas.Knowledge and hands-on experience of B2b Integration and system to system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interface methods is essentialExtensive knowledge of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces and user exits is essentialExperience in Master data related projects and Enterprise Portal is desirableAbility to read ABAP codes is required.Writing of functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfacesWorking with the business users to define scope and gather business requirementsTesting and rollout of the final productAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneouslyBe skilled in working with cross-functional teamsGood Analytical and Communication skillsGood Planning and Co-ordination skillsThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
