Overview:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales, the primary responsibility for the Regional Account Manager, is to drive dealer placement and sales for our Home Appliance and Television products tied to an assigned semi-annual sales budget and overall assigned territory plan. The Regional Manager will engage with both direct accounts and accounts served by distributors. He / she will be responsible for and measured by the following sales KPI performance metrics:Sales results vs. budget for customers in named territory.Sales growth vs. prior year for customers in named territory.Timely execution of all sales and marketing programs.Effective account management: Forecasts, POs, MDF, chargebacks, collections, returns, MAP compliance, service, etc.The Regional Account Manager will work out of their home but will be expected to spend upwards of 60% of their time traveling to and meeting with accounts within their territory.The Regional Sales Manager will work

remotely in New York or New Jersey or in Montvale HQs

and

travel within the territory

to support their assigned Key Accounts and channel sales leader. The Regional Account Managers will report to the Senior Sales Director currently Montvale, NJ.Responsibilities:Sales plan achievement for each 6-month fiscal period with agreed-upon goals and objectives.Daily and frequent proactive calls to independent dealers:Priority based on sales plan and product portfolio.Dealer opportunity, identification and engagements.Sales support on product information, pricing, strategy, new products.Communicate sales programs and other key SHARP brand and product information.Web based training/communications to dealership and sales reps (1 to 1 or 1 to many).Trade show coordination, meeting scheduling, effective SHARP social programming.Internal SEMCA communication on deals, obstacles, pricing, competitive activities, new products.Update all internal tools / systems / databases regarding dealers.Specific/additional duties include:Managing PC Richard & Son and select NATM member accounts along with Regional and Direct Ecommerce accounts (Staples, Wayfair, Macys, etc..).Attending and presenting at channel trade shows to drive new sales opportunities. These trips may include overnight stay and multi-day travel.Building dealer relationships with owner/principals, in-store salespeople, service technicians, and others within the dealers business.Handling dealer issues by working with internal SHARP team members in chargebacks, accounts receivable and service.Coordinating with their assigned SHARP sales leader on all aspects to ensure the greatest success for our SHARP brand and products.Providing timely updates to management on performance, opportunities, concerns, key dealer sales reps/contacts and needs like training, pricing, meetings, etc. to drive growth and achievement of the dealer's primary objectives and SHARP's quota performanceAssisting the Sr. Director of Sales on special projects as requested.Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in fields related to marketing or business management preferred.3-5 years selling experience.Consumer Electronics, Home Appliance selling experience ideal.Self-starter with superior time management, detail orientation and organization skills.Excellent negotiation skills.Attention to detail.Demonstrated business / financial acumen.Ability to get things done in a matrixed organization.Outstanding written and oral communication skills required.Mastery of Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.TRAVEL:

The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location.
