General Summary:
Responsible for preparing and selling food and beverage products in assigned concession stand area(s). Greet customers, fill orders, and process sales transactions.
Job Description: Demonstrates and embodies PMI Entertainment Group Culture and Customer Service values. Responsible for preparing and selling food and beverage for various events in the Resch Complex. Maintains a quality and consistent presentation of food products as directed by the Food & Beverage department staff. Handles product sales transactions in the assigned concessions stand. Completes payment transactions in accordance with proper procedures. Provides superior customer service. Maintains a clean and presentable work area. Creates a positive work environment. Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Knowledge of sales at a level normally acquired through completion of a high school education. Approximately 3-6 months of previous food and beverage experience to gain an understanding of food preparation, sales, and customer service. Analytical skills needed to process cash transactions. Interpersonal skills required to maintain positive customer relations when gathering and exchanging information. Knowledge of good housekeeping practices in areas where food is stored, prepared, served, or dispensed. Must be proficient in operating and maintaining a variety of kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, grills, etc. Ability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedule. Requires working in a fast-paced environment with irregular hours, as dictated by schedule of events. Requires standing for extended periods of time. Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to read numbers. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers. Ability to give, receive, and analyze information and process orders. Occasional high stress work when dealing with customers and peak service volumes. Must understand people and be able to communicate effectively with them. Requires hearing within normal range to communicate with staff and customers.
