This individual will engage in strategic and technical activities with clients: support teams to perform assessments, develop cyber strategy, vision, and roadmap activit Job Description We are looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant who has an understanding and some experience in cybersecurity. The position will be based in the Greater Chicago area and full time . The Consultant will be required to be onsite at our client. The Consultant will be a team member of our growing Cybersecurity Practice. This individual will engage in strategic and technical activities with clients: support teams to perform assessments, develop cyber strategy, vision, and roadmap activities. This is an excellent opportunity to assist new practice within a growing company. What You'll Do + Participate in a series of planned security projects for external clients + Engage with clients in advisory and strategic discussions to provide outstanding Cybersecurity/IT Strategy and industry guidance to maximize client's long-term business objectives + Support the ongoing evaluation of cybersecurity capabilities to determine maturity score and effectiveness of capability implementation using the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) across the enterprise + Assess information security risks and posture for clients + Assist clients in determining the security gaps and concerns and provide a long-term security roadmap for future initiatives + Collaborate with client leadership, team members and other stakeholders to understand their capabilities, maturation roadmaps, and facilitate next steps towards improving their overall cybersecurity posture + Implement planned disaster recovery and business continuity (DR/BC) and incident response (IR) tabletop exercises for clients + Conduct vulnerability assessments of the IT infrastructure for both compliance and security purposes + Plan, design, develop and implement of technical controls, procedures and policy associated with compliance to cyber security standards + Recommend changes to improve client's cybersecurity posture + Maintain knowledge of the cyber security capabilities of operating systems, networking devices, and control systems + Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/networ To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
