dedicated

regional CDL driver ! Drive dedicated with East Penn and enjoy a consistent schedule and pay, onsite management and regular deliveries to dedicated customers.Aside from the perks of a consistent schedule and pay, company dedicated truck drivers also enjoy access to comprehensive health benefit offerings including medical, dental, vision, and prescription as well as a 401k savings plan and paid time off.This position will pay between $24.60-$27.60 per hour.Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.Plus a $2,500 Sign-On/Retention Bonus!Responsibilities:Drivers primary responsibility will include various warehouse material handling duties and some delivery and pick-ups at off-site locations.Schedule varies depending on run, trips may range from 1 to 3 days in length.Delivers and picks up freight from specified locations, such as warehouses, stores, industrial plants, railroad yards, and small businesses.Verifies freight with shipping papers.Drives to specified locations, applying knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, state and local driving laws, and hazardous material regulations.Uses skills in highway navigation as well as maneuvering a vehicle in various situations, such as narrow passageways, heavy traffic, and adverse weather conditions.Inspects the vehicle for mechanical and safety defects before and after each trip, and submits a report indicating the vehicle condition.Maintains a Driver's Daily log according to Federal regulations.Prepares shipping papers for freight received.Interacts with customers when delivering or receiving freight or collecting payment for goods delivered.Warehouse work using material handling equipment.Qualifications:

Class "A" or "B" Commercial Drivers License with Endorsements for Air Brakes and Hazmat (endorsements not required prior to employment but obtainment required during probationary period) Training provided.Literate with good communication and math skills.
