Instructional Design Specialist

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants seeks an experienced Instructional Design Specialist to support our growing restaurant group. As part of the Learning & Development Team, the Instructional Design Specialist will be responsible for program administration and designing and developing blended learning solutions for Operations and the Restaurant Support Center.What You’ll Do:Consult with key project stakeholders regarding learning needs and project deliverablesConduct task analyses and assess knowledge/skill gaps to ensure the learning solution supports performance and business goalsDesign digital learning solutions grounded in adult learning principles with the ability to adapt/innovate the approach to meet the specific needs of OperationsDesign and develop a new curriculum for hourly and management training and certification programs for multiple conceptsDesign, develop, and maintain standardized department templates and formsPartner across all departments to update training materials and resources for programs to ensure ongoing accuracyAdminister department Learning Management System(s), including user management, content management, and field training/supportServe as a producer for webcasts/virtual classroom sessions, including scheduling, technical support, and reportingCollaborate with and provide support to department team members as requested to ensure the achievement of project deliverables and department objectivesComplete all tasks on time and within budget in alignment with project goals and operational standardsStay current with trends, best practices, and technology of both the industry and fieldActively seek opportunities to improve current programs, processes, and procedures to advance the Learning & Development strategyDesign and develop content to support key strategic business initiativesCreate presentations for department webinars and field all team meetingsPlan and manage content release dates for training materialsDevelop clear assessment questions for coursework that align with learning objectivesSupport the planning of the annual GM/EKM Conference by developing content and executing on-siteJob Requirements
