We are currently seeking a motivated Parts Driver to join our team!
Job Description:
The Parts Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of automotive parts to our customers, including body shops, service centers, and other dealerships. This role plays a vital part in maintaining excellent customer service and supporting our service department's operations.
Key Responsibilities: -Deliver Parts: Safely transport and deliver parts to customers, vendors, and internal departments within scheduled time frames.Pick-Up Parts: Retrieve parts or returns from vendors and deliver them to the dealership as needed.Maintain Delivery Schedule: Ensure timely deliveries by following the established route schedule and making adjustments when necessary.Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points, maintaining a professional demeanor and a positive attitude.Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance. Report any issues to the supervisor.Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, invoices, and other required paperwork. Collect signatures and payments as needed.Assist Parts Department: Help in stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and other duties in the parts department when delivery tasks are complete.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating company vehicles.Qualifications:
Valid NY state driver's license with a clean driving record.High school diploma or equivalent.Prior experience in a delivery or driving role preferred.Good communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
