Import Coordinator
to join our dynamic team in Clearwater, FL. This is a full-time, in-office role suited for a driven logistics professional with expertise in international transportation. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at handling the complexities of global logistics, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Track and manage international freight shipments
(ocean and air), ensuring timely updates to clients.Coordinate LTL/TL carrier logistics
with a deep understanding of carrier networks, rates, and transit times.Ensure accurate and timely
documentation management
for import shipments.Communicate shipment statuses and resolve in-transit issues with clients and carriers.Arrange timely cargo deliveries and collaborate with shipping lines, airlines, and common carriers.Negotiate competitive freight rates
with carriers and warehouses to optimize cost-efficiency.Monitor and adhere to documentation requirements for global shipping compliance.Establish and maintain best practices, achieving both company and client KPIs.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of
3+ years of experience
in international freight forwardingExperience with
ocean and air freight logistics , including LTL and TL shipments.Strong proficiency in
MS Excel
and
