The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a
Crane Operator
to work at our
Fulton Mill Services
location in
Delta, OH . The Crane Operator will operate a crane equipped with grapple and drop ball to break up, extract and move material. The Operator will be responsible for maintaining slag pits, including digging, watering, and temperature monitoring.
Pay: Starting at $25/HR, depending on experience;
Plus $2/HR night shift differential
Schedule:
Night Shift, Sunday - Thursday 6:00 pm - 4:00 am

The Crane Operator will:
Comply with all safety regulations and policiesMeet customer service expectationsComplete various functions with grapple such as digging pits, feeding hopper and bins with materialUse drop ball to process skulls, break up, and size materialMaintain and monitor slag pits, feed material, and stockpile inventoryPerform Pre-trip and Post-trip inspectionsPerform preventative maintenance on equipment (e.g. greasing, oiling, fueling, inspecting)Perform computer diagnostics on the machineMonitor changes in equipment performance and reports potential malfunctions to maintenance personnelKeep the equipment and work area clean and tidyMaintain daily recordkeeping and reportingPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorSkills
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 2 years of crane operations experience in an industrial environmentAbility to operate a crane and other heavy, mobile equipmentKnowledge of rigging procedures and regulationsAbility to sit, stand, walk, for extended periods, and lift to 50lbsAbility to operate a vehicleAbility to climb on, into, and out of equipmentAbility to work outdoors at elevated heights, tolerate multiple terrain and environmental variationsAbility to communicate via radioExcellent hand-eye coordinationBasic mechanical aptitudeKnowledge of appropriate safety proceduresAbility to read and writeHigh School diploma or equivalent
