Position: AWS Redshift Engineer
Location: Remote
Contract Length: 6 months

The company as a whole is working to implement AWS Redshift as their cloud data warehouse. They were previously utilizing Teradata. This team is comprised of high level database engineers, however, they do not have AWS experience. They are seeking to bring an AWS expert in house to be an accelerator in solving problems and strategizing. Right now, the team receives suggestions, but the innovation is coming from those from other teams with AWS experience. They are seeking an in house expert that is an overall DB technologist and is able to think across several DBs, listen to and make suggestions to ultimately shape the company's approach and decrease the time that the team is spending on strategizing.
