Job Description:Responsible for providing and maintaining effective customer service and satisfaction; provide information to resolve customer shipment related issues; interact with management and personnel to establish service criteria and meet customer requirements. Seeking an entry writer(s) to help us out with the following duties:
Responsibilities:Processing Customs brokerage for air and ocean shipmentsData entry and processing of various import related documentation for submission to U.S. Customs and PGA's (participating Government Agencies)Follow up on Customs matters and resolve problemsAnswer both customer inquiries and inter-company inquiriesClassify goods in the harmonized tariff schedule (broad range of commodities)Requirements
High school diploma or equivalentA minimum of 2 years of experience in Customs Brokerage for both air and ocean shipmentsGood communication skills (verbal and written)Must be detailed orientedProficient in Windows and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of Customs Brokerage software, experience working with Cargowise is a plusMust be a team player
Salary range for this position is $41k-45k dependent on level of experience.
