Job Description

Responsible for assisting in the efficient and effective procurement of goods and services in Supply Chain Department.

Responsibilities

Assist buyers in processing purchase orders from various departments as needed to support departmental workflow (i.e. Grants, Corporate Communication, etc.)Responsible for placing nursing unit special order items and tracking purchase orders.Provide timely turn-around on all requisitions and purchase orders to insure adequate delivery of goods and services to our end-users.Responsible for creating a return merchandise authorization (RMA) request to vendor for product returns and follow up on RMA credit(s).Responsible for entering manual Special Purchase Requisitions (SPR).Responsible for checking and communicating product recalls to Supply Chain leadership team, using RASMAS.Work in conjunction with IT department, setups, and maintaining ERP web requisition system. Assist and support end users with the ERP web requisition system.Assist in Supply Chain continual improvement projects and initiativesPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Education Preferred: Associate degree preferred.

Experience Required: Minimum of three (3) years' experience in inventory management or purchasing related environment.

Valid Driver license
