DescriptionMarketing Intern - Blueprint Underground Cocktail ClubGENERAL OVERVIEWJoin our amazing team! We are seeking one incredible intern who is passionate about the Nashville hospitality industry and eager to learn the inner workings from a marketing/branding perspective!Our Marketing Intern will assist the marketing department to develop, establish, and maintain marketing strategies to meet our goals and objectives.Average of approximately 20 hours/week.SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIESMarket Research Conduct research on Nashville hospitality industry, competitors, market trends, and target audiences Gather data on local consumer behaviors and preferences Analyze research finding and present summaries and reportsCustomer Relationship Management (CRM) Assisting in the development, management, and organization of customer databases Example audiences to include, but not limited to: music and entertainment industry, local businesses, concierges, non-profits, and more Support in outreach to potential clients or customersLocal Store Marketing & Special Events Develop and maintain a monthly calendar of community events for brand activations and partnership opportunities Examples to include, not limited to: conventions, conferences, charity galas, music festivals, food festivals, and more Assist in the organizing and promotion of said events Can include coordinating vendors, managing attendees, etc Staff events as a brand ambassador to engage with attendeesMiscellaneous Support Coordinating meeting agendas, and taking minutes Organizing and maintaining marketing materials and resources Preparing reports on various marketing activities under the guide of the marketing departmentKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:Knowledge: Strong awareness and presence in Nashville social, nightlife and restaurant sceneSkills: Attention to detail Ability to network and build relationships in a professional manner Ability to create and maintain positive and professional relationships with the teamPersonal Attributes: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Strong organizational skills Creativity and ability to 'think outside of the box' with events, promotions, marketing materials, etc. Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Available to attend/work events on nights and weekends Ability to work well with other departments Honest and trustworthy Respectful Strong Personal Presentation (approachable, dresses appropriately, communicates well with other people, friendly, etc.) Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity Flexibility & willingness to work evenings Demonstrate sound work ethics Be a positive ambassador at all times when in public.
