EXECUTIVE OFFICE

The Executive Office plays an integral role in advancing Goldman Sachs' strategy and in supporting and enhancing the firm's distinctive culture. Position Description

The Executive Office Client Strategy Group works closely with members of the Executive Office to prioritize and organize Executive interactions with clients, including corporations, institutions, governments, high net worth individuals, and internal constituents. The team conducts strategic client targeting exercises to prioritize executive commitments and travel plans, and prepares briefing materials for client interactions in close cooperation with senior relationship managers across the firm. In addition, the team coordinates with other divisions of the Executive Office to prepare briefing materials for interactions with key stakeholders. The Client Strategy Group also organizes and manages significant client events on behalf of the Executive Office, including events around the annual World Economic Forum in Davos and the Milken Conference in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review client briefing materials in advance of executive meetings
  • Work with divisional and regional management teams to strategize Executive Officers' client meetings and engagements
  • Determine travel destinations, prioritize potential client interactions and coordinate scheduling with input from senior relationship managers
  • Evaluate integration of internal engagements into Executive Officers' overall strategy
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to additional divisions of the Executive Office, including the Office of Government Affairs, Sustainable Finance Group, Investor Relations and Office of Corporate Engagement to prepare for Executive Officers' meetings and events
  • Collaborate with communications team to prepare materials for speaking engagements, including talking points for formal speeches, interview questions for panel discussions and industry or product-specific briefings ahead of media appearances
  • Coordinate with Client Strategy Group team members to manage deadlines and deliverables
  • Liaise with client relationship managers to collect relevant updates for incorporation
  • Edit and organize briefing materials to highlight key relationship points
  • When needed, distill salient points from firm and industry research for market updates

Qualifications
  • A deep understanding of firm's divisions, products and related current events
  • Ability to work independently and directly with senior executives across the firm
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment and discretion
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail; ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet multiple, competing deadlines
  • Teamwork orientation

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$110000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
