The Talent Engagement Leader is focused on the adoption and delivery of culture and engagement programs and initiatives across Canada impacting our talent. This role will partner with Canadian leadership on areas of culture and engagement, work with peers in all lines of business (LOBs) to drive consistency across the firm and collaborate with the enterprise talent organization to implement and drive key initiatives with our people and leaders.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $111,000 - $166,500
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.

This role will partner with Canadian leadership on areas of culture and engagement, work with peers in all lines of business (LOBs) to drive consistency across the firm and collaborate with the enterprise talent organization to implement and drive key initiatives with our people and leaders.
Culture Development
- Assess and evolve the firm culture to align with strategic priorities and employee needs.
- Champion the firm culture to ensure integration into all aspects of the employee experience.
- Partner with Canada leadership to articulate Canadian strategy to talent (owners and employees).
- Identify and assess opportunities to enhance leader and employee relations to foster a culture of inclusion.
- Implement initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience and build loyalty.
- Serves as a trusted business advisor to Canadian firm leaders and talent team members.
Employee Engagement
- Build strong relationships with business leaders across the firm to understand talent trends and business strategy to deliver solutions that support positive business results.
- In collaboration with our Talent/Client Insights group; Design and implement ongoing employee listening strategies, including focus groups and feedback opportunities, to gather insights on employee experience, satisfaction, and engagement.
- Collaborate with HR business partners, talent organization team members, and leaders to develop and implement action plans based on employee feedback and data insights, ensuring follow-through on improvement initiatives.
- Develop listening strategies targeted to measure ongoing employee satisfaction during milestones and points of change.
- Support and foster development while preserving the unique culture of RSM Canada.
Metrics and Reporting
- Analyze and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to employee turnover and retention, culture, and employee experience.
- Provide regular reports to Canada leadership on the effectiveness of culture and engagement initiatives, specifically related to employee retention.
Connectivity to Talent Organization
- Maintain awareness and understanding of enterprise-wide and LOB Talent strategies, initiatives, and structure. Support and champion successful adoption of these strategies into the Canadian business.
- Support CDI initiatives to position inclusion as a differentiator that helps our business drive strategy and solve pressing challenges. Collaborate with members of the CDI and ENG teams.
- Attend the recurring Talent Delivery & Execution calls and Talent all-hands calls. Be included where appropriate in other talent-related meetings.
Requirements
- HRPA designation (CHRP, CHRL, or CHRE) (preferred)
- College degree and/or 8+ years business experience with a focus on implementation and adoption of enterprise strategies and initiatives that enhance and drive talent engagement.
- Excellent communication skills e.g., presentations, speaking and written
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships as well as influence with transparency and authenticity.
