The Clarity Technical Developer will join a team of Clarity specialists that manage the support and enhancement of the Clarity PPM tool for approximately 8000 users across the globe.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements and improvements to our On-Prem Clarity environments.
- Design and develop custom processes and workflows using gel script.
- Fulfill support and enhancement needs that require configuration to the user interface, queries, reports, or portlets.
- Supports test cycles through implementation of enhancements as needed.
- Interface with business users and stakeholders as needed to evaluate and identify functional and technical requirements.
- Coordinate and manage activities for environmental maintenance, data refreshes, server and database issues, security/governance requirements, and performance monitoring.
- Create design and/or architectural documentation as required.
- Maintenance, enhancement, and development of Clarity integrations with other systems as required.
- Technical audits, performance tuning, and technical optimization.
- Develop and maintain data quality control mechanisms in Clarity.
- Establish, document, and maintain technical aspects of integrations, processes, and technical administration best practices.
- Support the team through technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of system or user issues.
- Consistently strive to improve the user experience within Clarity.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in design, development, and implementation of enhancements across all Clarity PPMtechnical and functional features including GEL Scripting, XOG processing, Time slices, NSQL, ClarityStudio Customizations, Portlet Development; Jaspersoft Report Development; SOAP/REST integrations, backend job scheduling, and general Clarityadministration.
- Thorough understanding of the Clarity database and data structure.
- Proven experience supporting Clarity PPMupgrade/implementation 16.0.0 or higher.
- Prior experience supporting configurations, enhancements, and customizations in Clarity PPMModern UX.
- Experience with unit testing, functional testing, and deployment activities that include coordination of activities from more than one team.
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and technical problem-solving.
- Eager to jump in and assist, consistently look for areas of improvement, and be a Thought Leader.
- Ability to lead effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary.
