Allied Consultants, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has for 32 years been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to be a key resource on a technical services team.
Allied Consultants offers its family of consultants excellent rates, a local support staff, and an attractive benefits package which includes medical insurance (Allied shares a percentage of the cost), life insurance, a matching 401(k) plan and a cafeteria plan.

Responsibilities
Level Description
4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area as a senior Business Analyst (Technical). Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. 2+ years of experience as a data analyst analyzing raw data using Excel, Tableau, etc.
Job Description
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

Perform complex business analysis work. Work involves coordinating the gathering, development, and documentation of business requirements and analyzing requirements management methodology. Identify issues and risks on projects and initiatives. Develop test cases. Provide training on projects and business processes. Provide technical input on project documents. Communicate business processes and workflow diagrams. Identify business and project inefficiencies. Document business processes and requirements.
