Job Description

The Director, Digital Account Management role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of multiple Account Management groups in support off NBCU Local. Working closely with the VP, Business Operations, the Director will help with interviewing, hiring, training and development Managers of the Local AM team as well as the individual Account Managers. This role requires proficiency in the digital workflow between NBC Local support teams and sales to provide end-to-end campaign management. The Director is also in charge of leading special projects and working with other internal teams

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent work experience
  • 10+ yrs. experience in ad operations, sales support, or account management and the desire to continue in or move into digital sales operations
  • 2 to 4 yrs. experience managing a team of 2 or more
  • Experience trafficking video ads in an ad server (FreeWheel preferred). Ad insertion into live video streams a definite plus
  • Fluency in the language of digital media and online measurement: impressions, CTR, CPMs, eCPMs, uniques, pageviews, visits, referrers, etc.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel (including formulas, pivotTables))
  • Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent client relationship & interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must be detail-oriented and have demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, continually changing environment
  • Strong knowledge of the media business.
  • Demonstrated success working on developing business initiatives or emerging departments.
  • Experience in driving business and revenue initiatives.
  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
