United Community Bank is hiring for a Branch Manager at our Cumming, GA locationThe Branch manager is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing the activities of the branch to ensure efficient and effective delivery of exceptional customer service, and operational excellence to achieve sales and service goals.

What will you do as a Branch Manager?
  • Responsible for overall day-to-day management of facility, staff, and operations of the branch
  • Accountable for maximizing branch revenues, sales, customer satisfaction including Customer Service Profiles (CSP) scores while minimizing operating losses
  • Responsible for building a strong branch team and maximizing performance through constructive coaching and feedback
  • Recruits, develops, and retains highly effective teams through ongoing bench building activities as well as consistent coaching and development sessions
  • Supports the consumer and small business loan process
  • Develops and maintains a diversified loan and deposit portfolio based on current campaign focus
  • Implements controls to protect the bank in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Actively participates in the community maintaining good public relations

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • 3+ years of banking experience, including thorough knowledge of consumer and small business lending operations, Teller and CSR functions, and bank products and services.
  • Previous experience in Consumer/Residential lending
  • Previous experience as a manager
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and develop staff
  • Strong interpersonal communication, outstanding ability to influence and build relationships and creative problem-solving skills

Conditions of Employment:
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • This is a full-time position

Salary

Salary is commensurate with experience. Branch Manager Levels I - IV are determined by new or existing guidelines.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position manages employees and is responsible for the coaching, development, and performance of those employees.
