Are you a skilled finance professional looking for an exciting and unique opportunity to take the wheel of a long-standing luxury dealerships finance department? Mile High Acura is seeking a Finance Department Manager to be the sole dedicated finance agent, handling the vast majority of deals in the dealership!

Why This Role is Unique:

This is not your typical finance manager role! As the sole dedicated agent of our Acura finance department, you will handle the majority of transactions. There are no other dedicated finance advisors to compete with for deal rotation, you'll have significant opportunity to earn. It's a fantastic opportunity for a driven finance professional to shine and maximize their own income.

What You'll Do:
  • Own the finance process - You'll be the core finance expert, managing the paperwork and financing, ensuring each one is handled properly for maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Master the products - Establish a high level of product penetration selling finance department products such as vehicle service contracts, maintenance packages, windshield & wheel protection packages, GAP and more.
  • Generate Reserve Profits: Leverage the monthly financing programs from a variety of lenders and set up financing with reserve margins that are mutually beneficial to the clients and dealership
  • Collaborate with sales teams - Work closely with our sales people and sales managers to offer financing solutions that benefit both the dealership and the customer.
  • Foster strong relationships with lenders - Maintain relationships with key financial institutions to secure the best service, rates and terms.
  • Manage all paperwork - Accurately complete and handle all required documents to ensure smooth, compliant processing for every transaction.
  • Work closely with the accounting department - Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure all funding is prompt and accurate.
  • Ensure compliance - Stay up-to-date with Acura, Colorado, and FTC requirements, as well as internal dealership policies, ensuring all transactions include all relevant disclosures and are fully compliant.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service - Provide a clear, transparent, and professional experience for every customer, guiding them through financing options with ease and confidence.


What You'll Bring:
  • 3+ years of automotive finance experience in a dealership setting
  • In-depth knowledge of lending practices, finance products, and deal structuring
  • A strong understanding of Colorado state laws and FTC compliance regulations
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensure all taxes, fees, and forms are accurately processed for each transaction
  • Exceptional communication skills to clearly explain finance options and maintain excellent customer service
  • A self-driven attitude with the ability to manage high-volume transactions as the sole finance advisor.
  • Problem-solving skills to tackle challenges and ensure smooth, timely processing of all deals
  • A passion for delivering results and driving profitability through finance products, warranties, reserves and service plans

Compliance Responsibilities:

As the Finance Department Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the department's operations comply with all relevant regulations:
  • Acura standards - Uphold Acura's high expectations for transparency & disclosure
  • Colorado state regulations - Ensure compliance with all state laws governing vehicle sales, taxes, title processing, and lending.
  • FTC guidelines - Follow Federal Trade Commission rules for fair lending, consumer protection and all applicable compliances.
  • Dealership policies - Adhere to all internal processes and policies to ensure smooth, ethical, and accurate financial transactions.
