The salary range for this position is $98,400 - $164,000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation. This posting is expected to close on September 20th or thereafter.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Facilitate and support product safety risk assessments for new and existing (installed base equipment) units.
- Drive resolution of safety critical items by documenting investigation details and working together with the management and wind turbine design teams to ensure completion of actions items.
- Act as a focal point for product safety issues, manage communication to executive segment management, and compile and track safety metrics.
- Quantify risk by performing quantitative risk modeling on complex systems to assess design safety risk
- Facilitate Containment, Root cause, Corrective / Preventative Action identification and Corrective / Preventative Action Implementation for product safety concerns by working together with cross-functional teams representing Fleet Support Engineering, Design Engineering, Regional Fleet Reliability Operations, EHS, Legal, Supplier Quality, Sourcing, and Chief Engineers Office
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Safety, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering or similar field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a design, systems, field operations, or product safety role.
