The Role

Do you enjoy learning about and marketing alternative investments such as private credit? If so, come join the Asset Management Solutions Marketing team where our mission is to champion the investment talents of Fidelity's investment products and solutions.

As a Director for Alternative Investments Product Marketing, you will work closely with the team lead for alternatives product marketing to develop and execute marketing plans that differentiate Fidelity's alternative investments in the marketplace! This is a diverse and fast-paced marketing role that provides the individual an opportunity to collaborate across marketing and with investment teams.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Driving new product narratives that will be used across our intermediary, retail, and institutional channels. Messaging and content creation includes both written content (presentations, brochures) as well as digital mediums (our website and videos)
  • Directing marketing and communications strategy for new product launches and ensure collaboration across firm; oversee cross-firm programs and measurement
  • Partnering on investment insights-driven content with marketing partners and investment professionals
  • Overseeing servicing requirements for third party platforms
  • Curating content/agendas for events program and support execution as needed


The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • BA/ BS degree with a concentration in economics, finance, business, or marketing preferred
  • 7+ years of experience working in financial services industry; experience marketing alternative investment products preferred
  • Can lead a marketing initiative from idea to execution with sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent writing and narrative development skills to distill technical concepts into simple, compelling messages that resonate with target audiences
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills; can effectively build relationships and influence partners
  • Experience with strategic prioritization/ setting KPIs and measurement
  • Outstanding organizational skills, consistently developing and meeting schedules, prioritizing or re-prioritizing, and using good judgment in engaging business partners
  • Good understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

Become a member of the Asset Management Solutions Marketing team, where we partner with investment professionals, investment product groups and distribution channels to develop and deliver compelling, accurate, consistent, and timely product content! The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$169,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
