HRBP

The HRBP will report to the Director of Human Resources and will be responsible for specific assigned business units. The HRBP will partner with the business units to help drive business results through multiple initiatives that are people focused.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide consultative and strategic advice on people and organizational issues to the assigned client group leadership. Foster and maintain a high-performing workforce and promote a healthy work environment.
  • Drive recruiting and onboarding strategies to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates for all divisions and business units.
  • Evaluate and refine sourcing and selection procedures for the organization and provide continuous tools and collaboration with hiring managers to identify top talent.
  • Assist with managing human resources compliance and employment risk.
  • Assist with analyzing processes, situations, and practices and make recommendations to mitigate risk.
  • Assist with analyzing processes including talent calibration, compensation, bonus planning, succession planning, and others as appropriate
  • Assist with solving complex organizational challenges through people-centric solutions.
  • Provide education and insight regarding HR policy and practices, emerging HR issues, and employment trends.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report key metrics to assigned client group leadership team(s). Metrics would include employee turnover, performance management, professional development, and organizational culture.
  • Assist with managing employee benefits, recognition, wellness, and related employee programs.
  • Support functional partners on key strategic initiatives through research and analysis.
  • Assist with managing HR information system, ensure accurate employee information, ease of access for all employees, and monitor usage.
  • Assist with providing training and development to new hires during onboarding, and, assist with development plans and programs for employees and leadership.


QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity and sound judgment in conducting business transactions and providing a high level of customer satisfaction. Organizational skills required to monitor multiple projects simultaneously. Good written and verbal communication skills are a must.

EDUCATION and /or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related business discipline and a designated certification (PHR or SPHR) is required.
  • 5+ years of general HR experience, with 2 years of direct experience in a strategic HR role.
  • Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Proven experience in recruiting for all levels of positions.
  • The ability to operate at both a strategic level within the organization, and the day-to-day tactical responsibilities required of this role.
  • Have worked in a continuously growing and adapting environment where you successfully adjust strategies and can realign priorities to achieve success.
  • Must have a passion for leading and developing people.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical environment is consistent with most professional service organizations. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
