What You'll Be Doing
As a member of CIBC's End Point Compute team, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, building, and supporting the configuration and automated deployment of Windows operating systems for endpoints.
You will implement and support the deployment and configuration of end user devices across the organization. Your main responsibilities will include developing and automating end point provisioning solutions using traditional and modern techniques, as well as providing key technical 3rd level Windows support in day-to-day operations.
As part of the new hardware integration process you will procure drivers, create packages, perform benchmarking and validate the functionality of OS components and peripherals.
You will provide technical leadership, standards and best practices during design, build, implementation, and maintenance phases of initiatives/projects.

You can demonstrate knowledge and experience in:
- Planning, engineering and automating endpoint technology solutions (Expert).
- Modern device provisioning through Intune and Autopilot (Expert).
- User driven deployment (Expert).
- Creating automation to deploy operating systems via Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) to an enterprise environment (Expert).
- MECM collections, packages, applications, drivers, task sequences, images, and boot media (Expert).
- Windows OS hardware support integration including drivers, firmware upgrades, and configuration of BIOS (Expert).
- Level 3 Support and troubleshooting of MECM deployment failures, task sequence problems, Operating System Deployment (OSD) errors and MECM component errors (Expert).
- Scripting in both PowerShell and VBScript (Expert).
- Technical documentation (Expert).
- Windows Administration and support of Windows Operating Systems (OS) issues, applications, compatibility issues, and debugging system crashes (Strong Knowledge).
- Intune policies including device configuration, device compliance, application configuration, and application protection (Working Knowledge).
- Windows security fundamentals (Working Knowledge).
- Windows OS feature update cadence (Working Knowledge).
- Azure Services including Active Directory, Dynamic Groups and Dev-Ops (Working Knowledge).
- Experience in Conditional Access is an asset.
- Adaptiva Peer to Peer content delivery mechanism is an asset.
- Virtual desktop environments including Hyper-V, VMware, Citrix is an asset.
- Group Policy Objects and Group Policy Preferences is an asset. Designing and implementing strategic and forward-thinking solutions.
