Position Summary
In this newly created role, the Director of Sourcing, Global Talent Attraction will establish and provide direct leadership to a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition Sourcers responsible for proactively building and delivering a candidate pipeline for active roles in alignment with IPG Mediabrands talent needs. In addition to sourcing leadership, this role will lead the development and implementation of talent attraction strategies and solutions to attract talent to IPG Mediabrands.
Responsibilities
• Drive the design and delivery of innovative TA sourcing strategies to identify and execute candidate generation strategies, proactively researching and assessing new sourcing methodologies to meet overall short- and long-term talent needs.
• Partner with Regional TA Leads, US TA Leads, and business leaders to understand hiring plans and business priorities ahead of active recruitment to develop and implement sourcing and talent pipelining tactics that support a consistent flow of qualified candidates directly linked to key roles/critical capabilities across functions.
• Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team of Sourcers who execute sourcing and pipelining tactics, pre-screening candidates for suitability.
• Provide thought leadership in how the CRM platform is configured to align with sourcing objectives and recruitment processes; drive change management as needed.
• Develop sourcing metrics such as KPIs, SLAs, etc., to evaluate the productivity of sourcing strategies. Maintain data and compile reporting to ensure performance metrics are met and to keep key stakeholders informed of impact.
• Develop deep knowledge of clients, competitors, market positioning, and industry trends.
• Enhance the US TA team's understanding of day-to-day sourcing skills and strategies.
Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of relevant experience working in a talent sourcing role or related field with 2+ years experience managing a team.
• 2+ years using data analysis tools and reporting software such as MS Excel, Visier, etc.
• 2+ years of experience developing, refining, and implementing recruitment systems and tools, including ATS, CRM, etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Experience building, leading, coaching, and evaluating a Sourcing/Recruiting team, ideally across multiple locations internationally.
• Prior experience in developing and implementing comprehensive sourcing strategies resulting in the engagement of passive talent.
• Experience in driving change and continuous improvement, as well as strong project management skills.
• Data-driven approach to decision-making utilizing multiple data sources that lead to increased operational efficiency and meaningful business insights.
• Networking, relationship building, and influencing skills with the ability to operate with talent across all levels.
